{"id":40166,"date":"2025-07-22T16:01:05","date_gmt":"2025-07-22T21:01:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.basler.com\/?post_type=career&#038;p=40166"},"modified":"2026-03-10T16:18:39","modified_gmt":"2026-03-10T21:18:39","slug":"lab-technician","status":"publish","type":"career","link":"https:\/\/www.basler.com\/fr\/careers\/lab-technician\/","title":{"rendered":"Lab Technician (2 openings)"},"content":{"rendered":"<section  data-block-id=\"hammer_block_cc867df50f3f569a90f98e14ccfde97e\" data-block=\"text-2\" class=\"block block-text-2 text-2 bg-light spacing-top-default spacing-bottom-default\">    <div class=\"wrapper\">\n                    <div class=\"headline-wrapper\">\n                <h2 id=\"hammer_component_69d0ddb24a8cb\" data-component=\"headline\" class=\"component component-headline headline style-default\">Lab Technician (2 openings)<\/h2>\n            <\/div>\n        \n                    <div class=\"columns single-column\">\n                                    <div class=\"column\">\n                        <div id=\"hammer_component_69d0ddb24a96e\" data-component=\"rich-text\" class=\"component component-rich-text rich-text\"><h3>Description<\/h3>\n<p>Build and test units and circuits required with assistance, document test and related data, and assist in providing technical support as assigned.<\/p>\n<p>Reports to: Engineering Lab Supervisor<\/p>\n<h3>Essential Duties<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Build test circuits or prototypes as specified by and assisted by the project engineer(s).<\/li>\n<li>Develop test procedures and reports based on design specifications and\/or other functional defining documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct design verification and functional tests on various products and records data utilizing electronic documentation formats.<\/li>\n<li>Utilize problem tracker system to identify functional or test problems found.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in providing information for instruction manuals.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in training production technicians and others.<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshoot down to component level with assistance as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Provide assistance to Quality Engineering for failure analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Provide customer technical assistance on testing and\/or unit setup.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the evaluation of electronic components.<\/li>\n<li>Build test equipment\/setups needed with assistance.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in providing estimates for testing time for project schedules.<\/li>\n<li>Inform management and project engineer of work progress.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure equipment used for testing remains calibrated.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in developing automated testing programs and setups.<\/li>\n<li>Perform minor circuit modifications to meet specifications with assistance.<\/li>\n<li>Work directly with project engineer(s), with minimum supervision required.<\/li>\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Requirements<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Associate&rsquo;s degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to occasionally lift\/move 25 to 50 lb. weight materials.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to use hands for simple grasping and fine manipulation.<\/li>\n<li>Travel as required to provide on-site technical assistance, testing, etc., for a specific product or to perform testing at an external lab facility.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Contact<\/h3>\n<p>Basler Electric welcomes employment applications received directly from interested candidates. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level.
