To aid our customers in getting the most from Basler products, we offer Time-Current Characteristic Curves spreadsheets and a Transformer Differential Calculations spreadsheet

If you need to perform basic complex number calculations, sequence component conversions, and some other basic calculations associated with electric power systems, explore the Electric Calculations Spreadsheet.

For tutorial information on how Fourier analysis calculations are handled, explore the RAS Fourier Transforms Spreadsheet.

Electric Calculations Spreadsheet

Those finding a need to perform sequence component calculations (V0, V1, V2, I0, I1, I2 to/from Va, Vb, Vc, Ia, Ib, Ic), determine settings for sequence component type functions (e.g., 59-3Vo, 46, 47, 51Q), do basic complex number calculations (x, /, +, -, polar/rectangular conversions, and more), calculate the impedance of an overhead line, or looking to perform basic voltage drop and load flow calculations, may be interested in the Electric Calculations Spreadsheet

I accept the disclaimer and want to download the Electric Calc spreadsheet

Time-Current Characteristic Curves spreadsheets

Users of these spreadsheets can obtain data on time current characteristics
BE1-50/51BE1-51/BE1-67BE1 Numerical Systems — BE3-GPR

After downloading the file, please place it in the Excel templates location on the hard drive of your computer for maximum usability.

For Excel 5.0 users, copy the file to your XLSTART subdirectory.
For Excel 97 and subsequent users, copy the file to your Templates subdirectory.
The spreadsheets contain macros, but they are usable in Excel 2000 and Excel XP.

For more information on installation and usage, refer to the accompanying readme files.

  • Users of the BE1 numerical systems and protection systems, the BE3-GPR, and BE1-50/51 series can calculate the nearest electromechanical-equivalent time current characteristic curves/time dial setting through this downloadable Excel spreadsheet. Cross-reference tables are included.

I accept the disclaimer and want to download the BE1 Numerical spreadsheet

  • Users of BE1-51 and BE1-67 series relays can obtain data from this spreadsheet on time current characteristics for their inverse time overcurrent relays.

I accept the disclaimer and want to download the BE1-51/67 spreadsheet

Transformer Differential Calculations Spreadsheets

  • Users of the BE1-87T relay may utilize this spreadsheet to calculate settings for their relays.

Note: The 87T Spreadsheet file download is a self extracting zip file. This file contains two versions of the spreadsheet in Excel template format: one where some basic fault calculations are performed by the spreadsheet from user's impedance data, 87twflt.xlt, and one without fault calculations where the user supplies all fault data, 87twoflt.xlt, as well as a Readme.txt file.

I accept the disclaimer and want to download the BE1-87T Setting spreadsheet

  • Users of the BE1-CDS220, BE1-CDS240 relays may utilize this spreadsheet to calculate the phase differential settings for their relays.

I accept the disclaimer and want to download the BE1-CDS2x0 Setting spreadsheet

I accept the disclaimer and want to download the Transformer Differential spreadsheet

Fourier Transforms Spreadsheet

This spreadsheet will:
   a) Convert a harmonic series to the summation waveform (Inverse Fourier Transform), and
   b) Calculate the harmonic content of the users sample data waveform (Fourier Transform).

This spreadsheet provides tutorial information on how Fourier analysis calculations are handled. Note: The file is zipped,

I accept the disclaimer and want to download the RAS Fourier spreadsheet
