Basler hosted students from Collinsville Area Vocation Center (CAVC) for a tour of the factory and testing lab. Basler President and Chief Operating Officer Ken Rhodes, a CAVC alum, shared some words of advice to the vocational students, “Work hard. Dedication and perseverance are critical to your success.”
Mike Basler oversees Research and Development Engineering for Basler’s Power Systems Group. He also served as an Adjunct Lecturer at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department for over twenty-eight years. He was the primary author of the textbook “Excitation Control Systems” and contributed to “On-Site Power Generation: A Reference Book,” published by the Electrical Generating Systems Association, and numerous other technical publications related to the control and protection of electric power generators.
