Basler’s excitation systems are being used on several important ships in the U.S. military. Working with Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Basler had the opportunity to provide systems for a project with the United States Coast Guard for the Polar Star. The Polar Star is the U.S.’s sole heavy icebreaker ship, capable of breaking ice up to twenty-one feet thick.
Basler has also worked closely with Custom Panel and Controls with the United States Navy’s Military Sealift Command to provide excitation upgrades to a number of their ships.
