The SBO271, SBO272, SBO273, SBO274, SBO275, and SBO276 Excitation Support Systems are designed to enhance generator excitation performance by enabling compatible voltage regulators to provide full forcing output during generator overload and short circuit conditions. Each system consists of a reservoir assembly and separately ordered power current transformer(s), delivering additional excitation support when generators experience demanding operating conditions. These systems are particularly well suited for large motor starting applications where dependable voltage support and generator performance are critical.
